Airblue, the fastest growing and the first environment friendly airline of Pakistan, has taken the initiative and started its ‘Green Revolution’ in Lahore with a goal to plant more than one million trees throughout Pakistan this year.
The airline, nearly 4 years old, has now turned its focus to the corporate social responsibility of making Pakistan a cleaner and greener place to live in for its future generations.
Airblue MD Syed Nasir and Raja Muhammad Abbas, DG Parks and Horticulture authority, recently planted a tree each to launch the Airblue tree plantation scheme at Jillani Park (former Race Course Park), Lahore.
Officers of Parks and Horticulture Authority, senior management of Airblue and Media personnel attended the ceremony.
