JS Bank Limited, one of Pakistan's fastest growing and upcoming banks has opened up two new branches in Mirpur and Dadyal in Azad Jamu and Kashmir. With the opening of these two branches, the JS Bank branch network now encompasses twenty seven branches across Pakistan.
The new Mirpur Branch is located in the heart of city's main commercial and retail centre point and is right on the main thoroughfare of the city. With a new full service operational branch in Mirpur, AJK, JS Bank has ventured beyond metropolitan Pakistan and into a city which is fast coming up as a main centre for business and economic activity in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir region. The Mirpur branch of JS Bank is one of two branches that the bank has opened in AJK, the other branch being in the smaller town of Dadyal. The branches will also provide JS Bank and opportunity to service new customers in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The Mirpur branch was inaugurated in a ceremony that was held at the branch location. The Honorable Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Ateeq Ahmed Khan, was the Chief Guest at the Ceremony and cut the ribbon to officially declare the branch open in Mirpur. The Prime Minister was briefed by the team at the branch on the various market penetration strategies that JS Bank plans to roll out in the Mirpur as well as the Azad Jammu and Kashmir market.
The inauguration ceremony was then followed by a hi-tea ceremony held at a Local Hotel. Speaking at the Ceremony, the Honorable Prime Minister Sardar Ateeq Ahmed Khan appreciated the efforts being made by the management of JS Bank for expanding the network of the bank across Pakistan and to Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He also appreciated the bank's interest in the AJK region and assured the bank that it will find a viable market with a large body of discerning customers. He closed the speech with his best wishes for JS Bank and expressed hope that the bank will continue to increase its presence in the AJK region and bring its services to more cities and towns.
